My Native Side

Writer's picture: Tiffany Stark MarkerTiffany Stark Marker

My dad, Steve had a passion for Native American culture. He was convinced he was partly American Indian, or at least looked like a member of a tribe. He loved their authenticity, ingenuity, and the beautiful colors reflecting their heritage. My parents owned a vacation home in the New England mountains near an old Indian trading post. My dad so enjoyed traveling to that home and feeling part of the native community in a small way. His clothing choices also reflected his love for the culture. He often wore moccasins.... beautiful soft leather loafers that were handcrafted and easy to take on and off. I still have his most recent pair and I was overjoyed to find such similar ones to have on my website. Hope you enjoy them and feel inspired by the Native American culture as well!
